Community tools you can open, learn from and make your own

Bitronics was founded in July 2023 by Bitmaker, to build electronic gadgets and open-source projects: community tools that push decentralisation, home mining above all, and that teach you something while you put them together. That is our "learning by building" philosophy.

  • Open source: we back the projects that widen what Bitcoin technology can do
  • Where it started: the NerdMiner, the Nerdaxe and the Orange Pill, and there is more coming

Bitronics grew out of home mining, and we have been making our own boards for three years. Every miner is assembled, flashed, run on the bench and checked here before it goes in the box. If you need something out of the ordinary, just ask.

  • Our own boards

    The Nerdaxe Ultra, Gamma and Gaia, the NerdOctaxe rev3.1 and the NerdMiner are designed here, revision after revision. Hardware and firmware are open on GitHub, and so are the other projects and collaborations we work on with the community.

  • Tested one by one

    Every unit is flashed and left hashing on the bench before it ships. We do not sample batches, we check units.

  • Custom builds

    A different case, a special configuration, a batch for an event or a colour that is not on the list: tell us what you need.

  • And we repair them

    If something fails, it comes back to the same bench it was built on. Home miners from other shops are welcome too.
