THE
BITAXE
The first open source hardware miner
The Bitaxe project is a single ASIC miner board fully open-source, who showcases reverse engineering of Bitmain’s mining chips. It currently has various versions, all primarily centered around a single ASIC mining chip.
This project is the result of contributions from skot9000, public_pool and johnny9dev who all together created the OSMU community, pushing the boundaries of open hardware development for Bitcoin mining
Current versions
Bitaxe Ultra – 500Ghs – BM1366 chip (S19)
Bitaxe Supra – 700Ghs – BM1368 chip (S21)
Bitaxe Gamma – 1,2Ths – BM1370 (S21 pro)
Easy to setup, Plug & Play!
Setting up the Bitaxe is incredibly simple. Just power it with a 5V adapter using its barrel jack, and it will immediately create a Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can access a web portal where you can configure all the basic mining parameters, such as the Wi-Fi credentials, pool settings, and your Bitcoin address, making the process quick and user-friendly.
Advanced features:
– Low power: Bitaxe works with only 15W of power,
– ASIC Tunning: bitaxe offers you the possibility to play with ASIC settings, play, learn and squeeze your ASIC hashrate
– Miner Control: AxeOs gives you the control of your hash settings and miner stats
– Over temperature security: Overtemperature control for safe operation at home
– Community firware upgrades: bitaxe has an awake and active community that constantly provides firmware updates
